Avék Anpil Men Medical Relief (AAMMR) is a US based not for profit organization with the sole purpose of supporting local health clinics and medical education in Haiti.  Established in 2014, AAMMR was founded and is run by healthcare professionals with a passion for helping Haiti and her people.

The model we utilize involves training and supporting local Haitian physicians and nurses to be self reliant, and to show through their example, Haiti can be self reliant.  This is done by providing resources for medical supplies, medications, and manpower when needed, but concentrating on education and empowerment.

It is our firm belief that any donation of time, talent, or treasure can be helpful.  Ideas are as valuable as any currency.  We welcome all who share a similar desire to aid Haiti.

The best way to aid Haiti is to teach Haitians to help one another. The adage regarding teaching a man to fish needs to be applied on large scale in Haiti’s case. Many hands will lighten the load.”
— Ryan Venis, MD FACEP Founder Avek Anpil Men
I went into this experience and country not knowing what to expect, but left with a new perspective of healthcare, a respect for the Haitian culture, and my heart full of love.
— Marcie Hulpa, RN (June 2014)
